The annual Board elections for DFW First took place today as outlined in the corporation’s Bylaws.  The DFW First Board of Directors elected Susan Rogers, Senior Vice President at Countrywide Bank, as Chairperson.  Mrs. Rogers is a founding member of DFW First and has served on the Board of Directors for nearly a year.  She has continually proven herself to be a highly valuable and visionary leader and she graciously accepted the position.  Dennis Hines, Director of Information Technology at United Central Bank, was reelected Vice Chairperson.  Mr. Hines is also a founding member and brings a unique perspective to the organization.  He has continually proven himself to be a highly participative member as well as a valuable and seasoned leader.

“The change in leadership is reflective of the momentum our organization is experiencing in 2008.  The time and resource demands on the officers of the corporation have increased significantly since our inception and this new leadership team is well equipped to meet these increasing demands. I am excited to have this team in place and congratulate Mrs. Rogers and Mr. Hines both on their new positions.”
